The objective was to install 50 IP CCTV cameras along with a smart access control setup for staff entry management, visitor tracking, and overall site monitoring across its office and residential sites.

Challenges

Multiple Access Points Across Sites: With several entry and exit gates for staff, visitors, and vehicles, the challenge was to control access without causing delays or bottlenecks.
Balancing Open Access and Security: Certain zones, like lobbies and shared amenities, had to remain welcoming while still being monitored effectively.
Integration Between Cameras and Access Control: The system needed to connect access logs with video footage to allow verification during any security review.

Solutions

A mix of dome and bullet cameras were placed across the premises, including reception, entrances, corridors, elevators, basements, and outdoor common areas.
Biometric and RFID-based access systems were installed at employee-only zones and server rooms to prevent unauthorized access.
A unified system was set up allowing security personnel to view live feeds from the cameras and receive alerts for access violations or tailgating.

Results

Tighter Control Over Entry and Movement: Only authorized individuals could access restricted areas, and entry/exit records were automatically logged.

Full Visual Coverage of High-Use Zones: Cameras captured key activity areas such as main gates, lifts, parking areas, and meeting zones, supporting better oversight.
