The objective was to provide real-time surveillance and video recording across thousands of centers to support transparency, discourage malpractice, and maintain the integrity of the examination process.

Challenges

With NEET conducted across multiple cities and spanning thousands of locations across the country, managing logistics and coordination on such a large scale.
Each camera had to be delivered, installed, tested, and made operational before exam day, within tight deadlines and without technical delays.
Footage had to be available in real-time to central teams and observers for flagging irregularities and responding quickly to field alerts.

Solutions

A large-scale rollout of 60,000 IP cameras covered nearly all NEET centers across India. Each center was equipped with multiple cameras.
A total of 500 IP-based CCTV cameras were deployed across AISSEE centers nationwide. Cameras were set up in classrooms, entry points, and control rooms to record key exam moments.
Each camera was configured and tested prior to the exam day, including time synchronization, video quality checks, and network testing.

Results

Any suspicious activity was flagged immediately by the central team and addressed in real time at the center level.

Archived footage was used to verify exam center conduct and supported NTA’s recordkeeping and reporting protocols.
